Company tonight. Lucas invited 3 friends of his - a young couple and another guy. Jared is over and he and Lucas are doing computer stuff.

Lucas leaves for TX early in the a.m. (4:00-4:30) stopping at Lee's (7:00-7:30 a.m.) to pick up some clothes he left there when he visited on his way up last week.

We will miss him. He is a neat son. We were blessed when God sent him

to us.

He has come a long way from the 2 - 3 year old who got upset with his big brother Andrew who saw Lucas using a hammer trying to make something one day. Andrew asked if he could try it. Lucas let him but he soon thought he took too long and complained. Andrew gave him back the hammer, shrugged and walked away while Lucas - pounding his project with determination - grumbled "Nobody do dat mine whole life!"

There's lots of little things that we remember that make us smile years later. That's one for me.
