When we learn morse code one needs to learn  short cuts.  That means to get your message across u nd 2 sqsh ur wrds 2 cnsrv spce. It saves time, too.  This is also incorporated in texting with the phones. So......we are all learning to spell poorly and get away with it because we do it on purpose....because it's important under those conditions.  lol  (laugh out loud).

I bet morse code has even more shortcuts,  though.  I like "88which means  "love and kisses".
You probably won't find that one on the cell phones...but then...I'm no expert.   Also, "73" means "best regards".  "
I guess I shouldn't bore you with more of that.  SRI  (sorry)
