Why  Fear  the Truth?

Things are happening fast, politically. It's much easier to see if you have been around long enough to remember what used to be. During Ike's administration “under God” was added to the pledge of alliance.    Did you get that?  It was put in not taken out. Also, Jesus' name was not something to be afraid of. School's taught accurately that we were founded on Christian principles  and that the pilgrims came here wanting religious freedom – and were running from religious persecution. Young people were taught the whole truth and they didn't leave out the part about God.

That's when I was young.

Now we find out that our present president, in a speech in Turkey, said that we are not a Christian nation. It's too bad that he felt in his “why can't we all just be friends” speeches he feels he has to say such a thing.   He sounds like part of the new curriculum.
