The Work Has Begun

Enlarging the bathroom.
All this to make the room wheelchair accessible. It's good to be
ready for the unexpected. Having my invalid mother here made the need for
this project a wake up call.

You can see all that will be involved...moving wires.
Below (ceiling) shows where the larger door will be...
at an angle.

The stack washer will be in the bathroom area...so there will have to be plumbing moved
2-3 feet to turn the unit around-facing the future doorway.This will all take a while. Today the header will go in
to replace the wall to the right of the ladder but the wall
will remain until we can move the wires and plumbing.
