A Big Chunk of History

I just learned that this is

Wisconsin's oldest tree. It's on the UWP campus.

I played near here when I was a kid.

There was a road near it that went straight through by the cemetery and on out of town to

the west. Homes were along there which were eventually moved to allow for more campus buildings. Aaron and Cherity's former Platteville home on Broadway St. may have been one of them.
