Talk About Low Salt!

I just talked to the guy that does the shoveling at our church. The trucks that take care of our parking lot can't salt it anymore because there isn't any! I've heard that salt used to cost $30. a ton and now it is up to $165. a ton! They can get bags of salt for the sidewalks. Some streets in town haven't even been cleared so they are covered with packed (from driving over) snow. Now THIS is a winter like I remember as a kid! Of course, I remember it from living up in northern Wisconsin.
I don't remember anything about salt.
